Summertime Marquee Weddings in Argyll's stunning Countryside: A Perfect Blend of Scotland's Scenic Beauty and Love 
Incase you didn’t know, Tents and Events’ home depot is located in the stunning Argyll countryside. We travel a lot across the central belt of Scotland, either by driving on the famous Rest and Be Thankful route or using our excellent local ferry service provided by Western Ferries. We also work extensively throughout Argyll too which takes us through some of the most incredible scenery in the country, in our humble opinion.
In May 2023 we had the opportunity to work at two local Argyll weddings on the same weekend – how lucky were we? – especially as the weather was hot and sunny (factor 50 days for sure!) and provided the perfect conditions for our marquee installations.
Love Blossoms in Innellan: A Dream Wedding with River Views
Our first wedding was held at a private venue in the village of Innellan and the views over the river are stunning! Our client hired the house for a few days and we installed the marquee for the reception to the rear of the house which kept it totally private for the guests. The happy couple were married in the grounds within a willow archway, they had drinks on the lawn and then into the marquee. As the venue was only a few miles from home it was the perfect location in so many ways!
Rustic Romance in Kames: A Charming Wedding with Island Backdrop
The same weekend we had a wedding in Kames and what a view from the marquee! The marquee was installed on an elevated position on the family farm with views over to the islands of Bute and Arran.
The marquee was one of our P system structures but had a 12m width so it felt lovely and spacious with a great dance floor – a must for any Scottish wedding! The internal decor was perfect for the location and a great weekend of family celebrations was had by all.
