Indoor Marquees and Conversions
Converting indoor areas to become the space that you need
Internal Conversion using Marquee Lining
Marquees can be used internally to transform a large hall or warehouse for a wedding or event or alternatively they can be used in an industrial setting to create small spaces which are more easily heated in the winter or for separation purposes.
A marquee lining can be installed to create an “indoor marquee” setting. Ideally a good internal height is required with a clear ceiling space (no heaters, beams etc). Fixings are required at strategic points so that wires can be installed to attach the lining roof and walls. Internal partitions can be fitted to allow areas for catering.
A carpet and dance floors can be installed as required together with bar counters and furniture options. Lighting packaged can add the finishing touches.
The Victoria Halls in Campbeltown makes an ideal venue for transformation.
Internal Conversion for Concert/Theatre Space
To transform a hall or warehouse for a concert/theatre setting black out linings are used and this gives a completely different effect. This can be used to create a theatre atmosphere or simply to alter the acoustics of the venue e.g. for concerts, award ceremonies.
Full Marquee – Indoors
If a venue e.g. warehouse is very large and only a small area is required for an event or purpose then a full marquee can be installed. The structure can be secured by the use of ballast as it is not possible to pin into an indoor surface. Since the marquee is installed within a building then it will be fully protected from the elements and therefore can be used over an extended period (if required) without worrying about changing weather conditions.
