We can include a range of ballast options for marquees that are not sited in fields as very often production sites are on hard standing. For sites that are on grass we can provide ground protection to get all our equipment on site to avoid causing damage.

We have many years of working in the film/TV industry and can suggest a size depending on the use e.g. dining areas, holding areas, make up and wardrobe.

Dining – we have various drawings depicting how a canteen area can be laid out to show the size required. We can allow for a full working kitchen if required or just have a small service area where most of the cooking is done in an outside trailer and just laid out inside.

Make Up – most make up areas include a work station with a trestle table with make up mirrors on it. We can show layouts to demonstrate the space you will need.

Wardrobe – We can suggest a size dependent on amount of people to be accommodated and the split for male and female.

Yes. Marquees can easily be divided into separate areas. This can be full height splits to separate dining from make up or wardrobe or can just be eaves height to make smaller changing areas for male/female.

Yes. We will arrange generators and make sure that the size ordered will meet your needs. A wealth of experience helps us work out the requirements for lighting, heating, make up mirrors, catering requirements, irons in the wardrobe department, etc. We always work with a set of generators i.e. one duty and one standby in case of any mechanical failure. Bulk fuel tanks are used for filming periods of more than a day or two.

We would normally use functional LED floodlighting in marquees to be used for dining, make up and wardrobe rather than decorative. We would also include outside lighting should there be any element of night time filming. Other lighting effects are available e.g. festoons if something less functional is preferred e.g. in rest areas.

Heating is normally provided using indirect diesel fired heating which sit outside the marquee and blows hot air through ducts. If the marquees are within confined spaces e.g. within factory units or sheds then electric heating can be provided instead. All heaters are thermostatically controlled and can be run off bulk tanks to ensure plentiful supply of fuel.

Heating can be distributed throughout areas that have been divided up to ensure an even spread throughout or incorporate any additional heating requirements e.g. to ensure that costumes can be dried overnight during periods of wet filming or to keep specialist costumes at an ambient temperature.

Yes. We can supply furniture which would normally be event chairs and trestle tables but sofas or soft seating can be incorporated for rest areas or green rooms.

We understand the nature of film and TV work and that scheduling can be subject to last minute changes so we try to be as flexible as possible to meet the production crew needs. We normally find that security are on site before us but if necessary we can arrange security. We co-ordinate the delivery and removal of all aspects of our remit including marquee, generators, furniture as required.

We can source any ancillary items required e.g. toilets, ground protection, heras fencing, barriers if necessary.
