Tents and Events can supply temporary marquee structures to assist with emergency situations as was demonstrated during the Covid-19 pandemic. Structures were provided for a range of uses such as temporary warehousing, drive-through testing stations, walk through testing stations, vaccination booths, queuing/waiting areas, canteen/welfare areas, outdoor hospitality areas and additional space to allow social distancing in various situations. These were provided to a range of clients such as the NHS, local councils, supermarkets, bars/restaurants and pivotal lifeline businesses who continued to operate throughout.

Historically Tents and Events has been able to react quickly to emergency situations with other historic examples being the installation of a marquee structure over a salvaged boat to allow an MOD investigation, a temporary shelter on a hillside for emergency personnel during an air crash retrieval, temporary shelters for sheep and animal feed during unprecedented snow in Kintyre and providing a marquee cover for the re-surfacing of Ardrishaig swing bridge during bad weather.

The event industry is a fast moving environment and this allows us to react quickly in providing solutions to any number of problems. This proved pivotal for the NHS during the Covid-19 pandemic where they needed solutions quickly. Tents and Events was able to take an initial problem, offer a solution and have a structure installed often within 24 hrs of the enquiry. We were quick to react to changing situations and alter and adapt structures as requirements evolved.
