Mountain Bike World Cup
On Monday the team were back to Fort William following the Mountain Bike World Cup. We provided a total of 10 marquees which in total had an approximate 1100 square metres of roof area!
The event has a huge following and the event organisers stuck gold with the weather this year which no doubt would help to boost the crowds even more. It was wall to wall sunshine all week in Fort William which made for a very dusty competition area.
All the marquees that came back were understandably dusty due to the conditions. They have all been washed, dried and stored away ready for the next job – thank goodness for our washing machine! Our Haven Crown machine at our Dunoon depot cleans the plastic marquee covers and helps greatly with a very labour intensive job.
Marquee Wedding at Ardkinglas, Cairndow
We were delighted to help Heather and Colin Baker have a fabulous wedding day at Ardkinglas Estate, Cairndow on Saturday. They left a wet and rainy Sheffield to get married in glorious sunshine on the shores of Loch Fyne.
Their 9m x 21m marquee, which included a 9m x 3m kitchen, looked just perfect on the lawn overlooking the Loch. They had a perfect day! Here is a review that Colin wrote for us on the Tents and Events Facebook page following their wedding day:

It’s great to hear back from our couples, knowing that all their planning and input has given them their dream day.
Just a little last thing – shortly before the main picture was taken showing the hills in the background, the Red Arrows flew overhead in their formation! Now THAT would have been some photograph!

Events at Kip Marina
Kip Marina has a marquee for two weekends this month for various events that they are hosting. We have installed a 15m x 35m marquee with a clear gable wall overlooking the marina. The clear gable wall looks brilliant in its location and shows a great view of the Marina itself. There is a kitchen tent for catering and a link into the Chartroom for guests.
We have worked with Kevin Blamire and his team on several occasions and they are valued customers. We will be back later on this year to provide 3 marquees for the Scottish Boat Show which is the largest in Scotland and the third largest in the U.K.
