Whilst undertaking a period of refurbishment at St Catharine’s College Cambridge, a long-term solution was required to put in temporary kitchen and dining facilities.

A Roder Structure with steel subfloor had been purchased by the temporary kitchen supply company for installation by our team. We had worked previously with the same company on a similar structure in Edinburgh.

A full commercial kitchen and dining area for students and staff was installed to meet the catering needs of the college throughout the academic year.
Solution
It was crucial that the temporary kitchen accommodation could service the needs of the school throughout the academic year and be capable of withstanding all weather. We worked with Simon Underwood and his team from Temporary Kitchens Europe Ltd to assist with the basic infrastructure required.
