As our busy season slows down, the team can eventually catch their breath after what has been an incredibly busy September and October!
Wedding at Glenfinnan
We had our last wedding of the year at the Glenfinnan House Hotel with the bride and groom flying in from Australia. We have had an unbelievable amount of international bridal parties in our marquees this year with several coming from Australia and New Zealand and our first from Reunion Island which is off Madagascar!

Scotland’s Boat Show
Scotland’s Boat Show at Kip Marina was another success this year. We supplied four very large structures to the Show which obviously takes a great deal of time to install.
After the event we had a race against time to get the covers off the marquees as Storm Brian approached. With the covers all down on the Monday, we took the rest of the structures and the flooring away over the course of the week once the storm and blown over. Public and staff safety is always paramount.

From Salsa Dancing to Walking with Ghosts
We had a trip over to Mull in the middle of the month for a music event. The team installed on the Thursday and returned on the Sunday to remove the 9m x 30m structure located at Ledaig, Tobermory and by all accounts it was a great night.
A couple of marquees were out over the month for some location filming for a TV series – it’s a company that we love working with!
Locally we installed a dance floor at a local hotel for a visiting Salsa dance group. This was their second visit to the hotel and they travel up form London collecting dancers as they travel. It’s a weekend full of dancing, friendship and rum – sounds good!
Ghostly goings on at Glenbranter brought our month to a close. We supply lights, hazers and other effects for the annual Forestry Commission Ghost Walk. It was a cracking night this year and dry for a change!
So the events may have slowed down for the moment but the work never stops! The maintenance over the winter months is a huge task and our hardworking team are on the case!
