Scottish Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Show 2019
The beginning of February saw the team back at the Scottish Events Campus for the Scottish Caravan, Motorhome and Holiday Home Show 2019, working with QD Events.
We supplied a 15m x 63m clearspan marquee with two links to Hall 5 which hosted additional exhibitors. We used concrete ballast blocks throughout to secure the structure.
This year the marquee hosted several campervans and vehicles, a first for us at the Caravan Show! Last year we had a wooden holiday home in the marquee so every year is different. We heated the marquee with our indirect diesel fired heaters and had bulk tanks on site to supply the fuel to keep the marquee at an ambient temperature. We had a member of staff on duty in the marquee over the period of the event to ensure the smooth running of the event given that the Storm Eric landed over the weekend.
Marquee flooring maintenance
The planning continues for the team and the office has been busy producing quotations and booking clients in for the 2019 season and beyond. The boys are busy with the Winter maintenance in the yard – all the pine flooring has been treated and revarnished, all ready for the thousands of people that will walk and dance over it this year!!
