Hamilton Park Ladies Night
Well it’s Ladies Night, oh what a night! This year’s Hamilton Park Ladies Night was no exception and was yet again a brilliant day and night. The usual marquees were there – shopping marquee, the Moet Champagne marquee, the fashion marquee for the almost 10,000 revellers. To help the day along, Captial Radio’s Des Clarke and Amy Irons were there along with Calum Best, Georgia “Toff” Toffolo and Heather Small. Hamilton Ladies Day/Night is always a fabulous event.

Wedding at the bonnie, bonnie banks of Loch Lomond
A truly international wedding party help make for a fabulous wedding at Loch Lomond Golf Club near Luss. The team built the wedding marquees over three days and comprised of a 15m x 40m marquee which included a 25m function area, 10 kitchen and 5m for the toilet area. The whole marquee was built on our suspended flooring to give a level, solid finish and had our opening solid glazed windows to allow the guests to full take in the view of the stunning Loch Lomond surroundings.
The inside of the marquee was fully finished with pleated ivory drapes which was complemented with our absolutely beautiful crystal chandeliers. We worked on this wedding with Supernova Wedding Design & Flowers, Classical Loo Company, Liggy’s Cake Company and, to finish off the day, Midnight Storm Fireworks.

Marquees for Highland events
On top of these events we have been to Glenfinnan Highland Gathering, the World Pipe Band Championships at Glasgow Green, Piping Live at the National Piping Centre and Bute Agricultural Show which had an new additional ‘Field to Fork’ marquee which was really successful at promoting the local Bute produce.

Cowal Highland Gathering
The Cowal Highland Gathering was held from 29-31st this year. It’s our local Highland Games in Dunoon and involves a huge build for the team. There are marquees for the Trophy Room, the officials’ catering area, dancers’ changing rooms, bar marquee, the patrons and sponsors area, market stalls, the dancing platforms, the new silent disco to name a few.
Last but by no means least is the ceilidh tent which hosts the Argyll Ferries Gig at The Gathering on the Friday evening – it’s always a fantastic night of live music. This year, the gig hosted The American Rogues, Beinn Lee and Trail West. On Saturday, The American Rogues played again, followed by local band Heron Valley and Tide Lines who flew in from Denmark the night before. The atmosphere was amazing and they all had the marquee rocking!

Campbeltown weddding
An internal marquee was installed for a local wedding in Victoria Halls, Campbeltown. With help form ourselves and Linda Maxwell’s Cromlech Events the hall was beautifully transformed and the colours chosen by the family totally suited the occasion as both the bride and groom are from the farming community!

These events are not the only marquees that we have installed over the month. There were several other smaller hires that were slotted in throughout the month – enough to keep us on our toes and it continues on into September…
