In some instances, marquee flooring can be as complex as the marquee structure. Flooring has to be level, strong, safe, and fit for purpose. Choosing the correct marquee flooring option is an essential element to provide you and your guests with comfort, stability and a maybe a touch of luxury.

Marquee Flooring Considerations

Direct Lay
Marquee Flooring
A simple and efficient floor for flat sites. This is the most cost effective and affordable flooring for level ground and as such the direct lay floor is a popular choice for marquees on flat level site with easy access.
If required, we can overlay with carpet in any colour.

- Small undulations can be smoothed out with packers
- Attractively finished in varnished pine with light oak stain
- No further covering needed but is suitable for carpeting if required

Suspended Marquee Flooring
Steel Sub Base Floor
This floor consists of a steel frame which allows the marquee structure to be elevated. The steel sub-frame provides a rigid and secure base for the marquee structure which is then attached to the steel floor system. Timber boards are secured between the sub-frame and the marquee footings to provide a perfectly level surface.

- No further covering needed but is suitable for carpeting if required
- Steps and ramps can be built for access
Cassette Flooring For Marquee Structures including Steel Sub-Frame & Steel Risers
This system is the most robust and substantial flooring system which consists of composite steel and wooden floor modules (‘cassettes’). Each cassette is supported on steel beams which form a ring around the perimeter of the marquee structure. Steel uprights (‘risers’) are positioned to level the ring beams and can extend up to 2m above ground level.

- Ideal for uneven sites
- Ideal for ground not suitable for pinning
- Steel risers allow us build up of up to 2m above ground
- Can span obstacles e.g. flower beds, small fountains, etc
- Additional weights can be inserted into floor channels to give extra ballast
- No further covering needed but is suitable for carpeting if required
- High quality finish in varnished pine
- Steps and ramps can be built for access
