Well now that June has drawn to a close we can now breathe a sigh of relief – what a busy month and a massive amount of travelling miles by the team!
Locally, we helped with Dunoon Grammar School’s Leaver’s Dance and also at a fabulous 50th Birthday Bash. We also had 5 weddings across the country, ranging from Inverclyde and as far afield as the Lochaber area of the Scottish Highlands.
Marquees for Sporting Events
We have helped at two major sporting events this month too. We had 10 marquees at Fort William for the Mountain Bike World Cup which by all accounts was a great success – helped greatly by a fabulous spell of weather. We also had the pleasure of supplying a hospitality marquee for the Grand Prix of the Seas Powerboat racing at Greenock.
Marquee for Graduation
The University of Stirling had a marquee from us as part of their Graduation ceremonies that took place over two days at the end of June. The photographs that we saw over the two days looked great – lots of happy students receiving their degrees! Congratulations to all those involved.
Royal Highland Show Success
It was the 176th Royal Highland Show last week. We provide several marquees for clients, one of which was for the Stockman’s restaurant which could hold up to 300 clients!
The RHSS have announced that they had record breaking crowds this year with 188,810 visitors going through their gates over the 4 days that the show was on!
Marquees for Hampden Stadium Events
It was a great month for live music in Scotland and we had a marquee at Hampden for the Rhianna and Coldplay concerts. Only one more concert to go and that is Beyonce this week. At Kilmarnock we also provided bar marquees for the Sir Rod Stewart concert.
On top of all this, the team have been through at Scone preparing for the Scottish Game Fair which takes place this weekend – looks like the weather may be not too bad over the weekend. If you are going along, have a great time!
