It’s been one of those weeks!
Marquee in Dunoon for the Dunoon Revival Weekender
The week started with the take down of the marquee in Dunoon for the Dunoon Revival Weekender organised by the PA23 BID. It was miserable for the installation on Friday but the sun came out when it mattered on Saturday and it was a great day. There were plenty of visitors who came with their scooters and enjoyed the music! The marquee was built in the pier car park and was a great central location for all the visitors and locals alike. In Glasgow, the team were back to remove marquees following the World Pipe Band Championship.
Blair International Horse Trials at Pitlochry
We were Perth bound on Monday and Tuesday to complete our build for the Blair International Horse Trials at Pitlochry. We are supplying the hospitality marquee for members and sponsors for the event which takes place on 25-28th August.
Upcoming Marquee Weddings
The wedding season is still in full flow and we have two wedding marquees this weekend. They will both have a very different look and we look forward to being able to post some photographs of them in the coming weeks.
Marquees for Highland Games
The Highland Gathering season is also in full flow. This week we had the lovely commute through Glencoe to Glenfinnan to install marquees for their games which takes place on Saturday 20th August. These events are great at attracting visitors to the area and pulling local communities together. Let’s hope the weather holds out for them!
The build for our local games, the Cowal Highland Gathering in Dunoon, starts today (Friday 19th August). This is a major event in Dunoon and attracts thousands of visitors every year to see a whole host of piping competitions, championship highland dancing competitions, heavy athletics and family entertainment over the three days of the event. It’s definitely worth a visit if you haven’t already been!
