Linings

Our linings are all in softly pleated ivory. A pelmet can be incorporated at eaves height either in ivory or in a complementary colour. Stock colours are Ivory, Burgundy, Royal Blue, Lilac and Black Watch Tartan. Other options are available at an additional cost.

For special occasions, custom made fitted linings can be supplied in a wide range of colours. These are disposable items and are made to measure by a specialist lining firm.

Tables

Several styles of tables are available, depending on personal choice or the type of function. Our stock items are detailed below, however, other options are available and can be sourced for clients:

4ft Diameter Tables
Often used in smaller marquees or for informal functions, they will comfortably seat 6 guests for formal dining or 8 guests for a more informal setting.

5ft Diameter Tables
Possibly the most popular and versatile round table available. Ideal for weddings, formal dinners etc. The will seat 8/9 guests for formal dining, but 10 guests could be seated round them for wedding evening guests or less formal functions

6ft Diameter Tables
Our largest round table, which will seat 10 guests comfortably for formal dining but is suitable for 12/14 guests for informal use

6ft Trestle Tables
These multi-purpose tables are ideal for buffet/bar service areas and for a top table at a formal function. Other trestle tables can be sourced, if necessary.

Chairs

A variety of chairs are available depending on cost considerations, type of function and personal choice

• Event Chair - Burgundy - with curved back for greater comfort
• Folding Banqueting Chair - Burgundy - upholstered
• Luxury Bentwood Chair - Silver, Black or Gold Frames with a choice of seat pads
• Luxury Chiavari Chair – available in Limewash frame with choice of coloured seat pad.

Lighting

Various styles of lighting are used depending on the type of function. As standard we offer a modern chandelier style but we can offer a range of spotlights which offer a wider scope for effect e.g. over the dance floor area. All lighting is fully dimmable to allow guests to adjust it as required - for example to give a more atmospheric ambience to the evening function during a wedding.

Exterior lighting can also be placed round the marquee to add that special finishing touch or simply to ensure that there is adequate lighting for guests leaving your function. Flood lighting of buildings or garden lighting can also be incorporated as an added features including the use of LED fairy lights to give a magical ambience.

Dance Floor

Flooring and carpeting are required in the majority of marquees, with a polished Hardwood Dance Floor available to give a high quality finish. With the suspended flooring systems it is not necessary to lay a hard wood dance floor and they do not require to be carpeted (although it can be added in on request).

Heating

Heating is supplied by indirect diesel fired heaters. Placed outside the marquee they deliver ample clean hot air to internal diffusers. Thermostatic control ensures your guests are comfortable whatever the weather. Noise levels from these heaters are minimal.

Staging

Lightweight staging is available for indoor or outdoor use. It is available in 2m x 1m sections and is ideal as a small performance area for bands etc. Specialised staging for larger events is available if required.

PA Systems

PA systems are available for speeches and can include a music system for CD, minidisk, tape and iPod if background music is required.

Power/Generators

Very often power can be drawn from a nearby building and we can arrange all the necessary cabling. Power outlets for entertainment, bars and catering can also be provided. We can also arrange generators for your event with the size depending on the electrical loading required. We can liaise with the caterer, band, etc., to get the necessary details and then arrange the correct size and outputs required. We recommend the use of two generators so that one can be used as a stand by in case of emergency. A back up power source is very often a stipulation by Local Authorities issuing licences for live events requiring either a bar or entertainment licence.

Portable Trackway

Should access to your potential site be problematic, this can very often be resolved by use of portable trackway to ensure that all suppliers can gain access without damaging the ground so that the area remains intact during the period of the event. Trackway can also be provided to make pedestrian walkways where necessary. For short distances or small areas, we can offer ground guard at a minimal cost.
