The beginning of the week started off with the team removing two marquees from weekend events. One was from a wedding on the beautiful island of Bute, luckily the weather held out for the wedding celebrations. The second one was from Kip Marina who hosted a charity event which was a great success!
It’s that time of the year again and the team have been through in Edinburgh at the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston preparing client marquees for this year’s Royal Highland Show. Now in it’s 177th year the show is one of Scotland’s most iconic events, showcasing the very best of farming food and rural life. It’s well worth a visit!
This year we have been working with our regular Highland Show clients plus a few new ones which is great! One of regulars is the Country Refreshments marquee which is better known as the Stockmans Restaurant. The photos above are from last year and shows the 15m x 25m dining area – along with this there is a 15m x 10 bar for thirsty visitors and a 6m x 15 kitchen for supplying all the food!
The next few weeks will see us clocking up the mileage in the vans – we are off to Scone to start the installation for the Scottish Game Fair and also installing the marquee for the graduation ceremonies at Stirling University!
