April is traditionally the quiet start to our marquee season – gently breaking us in before the seasonal madness begins!
This year we had several party marquees out with clients taking advantage of our 40% discount on our party marquees – it’s a great deal! On top of this we had marquees out for a TV filming company to use in the very heart of Glasgow and furniture and staging rentals were delivered throughout the month in Argyll. We even managed to host the Princess Royal (again!) in a marquee this month too when she was carrying out an official opening ceremony in Shotts.
At the end of April we were absolutely delighted to work at the new Carrick Castle Estate venue near Lochgoilhead. It is a simply beautiful location, nestled on the shores of Loch Goil. It was a pleasure to work with Susannah and David in planning their wedding day – it looked like an amazing day, the weather was fabulous and they even managed to open the window walls during the reception!
Now for May and it’s a busy, busy, busy one! With several new events, such as Burnfest 2018 at Rozelle park in Ayr, Scapafest at Ardkinglas and the Glasgow Contemporary Art Festival at Kelvingrove, along with returning customers and our annual events – it promises to be full on!
