A Long History in the Event business...
Tents and Events is a family run business, owned and managed by Graeme and Janet Fletcher, specialising
in premier quality equipment combined with a high level of personal service.With 10 years experience in the marquee industry, complemented by Event Management experience and over 20 years in the Hotel and Catering industry we have an in-depth knowledge of all aspects of functions and events.
Together with offering advice on marquees, we can often highlight small detail points on other aspects which can very often aid the success of an event. Each client is offered individual attention and can be assured of our full commitment at all times.
We are happy to work with clients on both small and large projects and can offer a full range of ancillary services together with full event support.
Quality Clearspan Marquees
Tents and Events uses Marquees of the very highest quality, designed and manufactured by Höckers
of Germany who have a world wide reputation.
The Clearspan Marquee system is the latest in marquee design and is based around a modular aluminium frame, whereby marquee sections can be joined together to form varying sizes. We have marquees available in widths up to 15m which are extended in lengths of 3m or 5m depending on the structure.
The Clearspan system can cope with higher wind speeds than traditional marquees. It has no central poles to obstruct the interior and no guy ropes mean that the marquee can be erected close to buildings and in confined spaces.

The marquee structures are complemented by our suspended flooring system which level out slopes or uneven ground to give a high specification finish and can be a great advantage to marquees in the winter as they help deal with water logged sites and give added warmth as they are slightly raised off the ground.
Window Walls, Glazed Canopies, Internal Linings, Patio entrance doors, Heating, Lighting and Dance floors are all available to help bring the package together, which is then further enhanced by any specialist internal finishes required by clients, together with their choice from the furniture options available.
